I'll run this camera all year, mostly for whitetails. Seeing all the pictures you guys post of Covert proves they take great pictures but what is the best setup for my basic needs? I just want a good dependable set up. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

MPe5 will be the cheapest and still perform...but I recommend the MP6 as I feel it has the most setting offerings for the price and it will reach out a touch more at night. If you can find a 2012 Red 40 those things were sick good....but harder to find getting further removed from that year run of cams.

Like Ty said you can't go wrong with the mp-e5 or mp6. Both impressive little cams. Scoot

Do you have any idea if I purchase a brand new camera on eBay from a dealer, if the 1 year warranty is still good? I know this wasn't the case for my Cuddeback (garbage)

If I were you I'd contact Covert directly and see if they have any of last year's models you could try and see what kind of deal you can get. OR go to Wing Supply and check out the deals they have running there:
