So I've been researching bows lately. I want something between 3 and 5 hundred. I really like the Mission Models. I want to shoot between 60 and 70 pounds but also want something thats not super loud. I'm not too sure what size axel length I want. Right now I have an older PSE model which I really like but I want something thats quicker and quieter cuz my bow is a little bit on the loud side. I also know that I want just the bow because I think the combos are a waste of money cuz I'll end up replacing all the accessories. What are some questions I should ask myself as far as what I should look for? Also does anyone have any mission and what is the general view on em like are they really quick and are they quiet?

Check out K and K. I just bought one and man what a nice bow. I also have a Z7 and I like the Vengeance better.

Marauder, I shoot a Mission Eliminator 50lbs, 25" draw. Il be the first to tell you, Mission bows are great! This year I shot my first deer ever in WI (9 point) and having a light set up because im only 14, I made a great shot on him, and he only went 60 yards. Mission bows are very fast, super quiet especially with a stabilizer and are unbelievably accurate! I have a friend who has the Z7 and put down close to 2 grand for its setup, im only running somewhere around $900 and I still shoot better than he does. Believe me you cannot go wrong with Mission, theyre basically a Mathews but cheaper because they dont have as many bell and whistles if you will. Good luck with finding a bow!

There are a ton of great bows in that price range. Mission is a great line. I've never heard anything negative and it's a Mathews company so service will be top notch. Also, I can't find the price but the Hoyt rampage is a good bow that you don't hear much of.
Also, you can look on craigslist for a good used one. A lot of times you can find a brand new bow, nicely loaded for decently cheap. A friend was looking at an almost new Mathews DXT, loaded with good accessories for about $500.
    Just a thought.

I love my bow. It's short, extremely fast, and pretty quiet. 60# will be enough, the 70# are a bit more. I can't speak for the guy selling this bow, ebay shows him to have 100% positive feedback, but he has to be an authorized dealer for it to keep the warranty. I got mine completely set up for $749 last year, and I haven't needed to replace anything. If anything, the rest, but it works fine.

If you're not worried about buying used (warranty), this looks like a good deal.

The Mission Eliminator has an axle to axle of 30 inches, and a forgiving brace height of 7 inches. Highly recommend this bow!

    ^^^^^This X2

My son shoots this bow also. Loves it. As he's grown they have replaced the cams at no charge, which is another bonus. Great bow for the price.

Right now the bow that mission has that stands out to me is the Riot. It has a 31 inch axle ht. with a 7 inch brace height. It can adjust to a 30 inch draw length is what I need. It's like 400 which is in my price range. And it's 4.3 pounds which is only .4 pounds heavier than my PSE. They say it's like the Mission Craze. Does anyone have the craze or heard anything about it?

I also have a 09 Mission Eliminator. It's my first bow. I've only been bow hunting three years and it works great and is the less expensive brother of Mathews bows. My dad bough an older model Mathews and he cries every time we practice together. He cries my bow shoots flatter and quieter than his. I got my first buck with it this year shooting 70#, 29" draw, 100gr muzzy 4blade on a 15 yard quartering away shot. Deer dropped within a hundred yards gushing blood all the way. It will definitely get the job done. I don't think you can go wrong with Mission.
