A friend and I would like to start doing some filming and I need to acquire some equipment including the camera. I have looked at some of the entry level packages on Campbell cameras but I don't have that kind of money to invest. If anyone knows where I could possibly find used or refurbished equipment for a discount price I would be greatly appreciative for the help! Thank you!
I'm a fan of the dslr. I just picked up a new cannon rebel t3i with an 18-55 mm lens for 420 plus tax. Shoots 18 mp and full 1080p video. Cam adapt any lens you want telephoto even. I can film something pretty far away with my 70-300

Not sure if you are still looking but take a look at this setup at Campbell Cameras Canon VIXIA HF R400 Full HD Camcorder It is 199 but currently on backorder. Personally I would wait about two - three weeks before buying anything. CES (Consumer Electronics Show) just happened in Vegas this week and lots of new cameras were announced. As a result, older cameras might see a price drop.
I have a muddy outfitter arm with a Manfrotto fluid head on it for sale. Not positive what one it is off the top of my head can check when I get home
