I am looking for a righted bow for my son. Something he can grow with, he currently has a Bear Brave maxed out at 30 lbs draw weight. The draw length is not adjustable and is not too short. I am looking for something along the lines of a Diamond Edge or other fully adjustable bow and a sweet deal. Looking to pay $100 or less.
My wife has the Diamond Infinity Edge Pro set at about 28 lb. draw. She doesn't hunt but uses the NASP 1820 arrows that we have. It is a good bow. Got it on sale about four years ago at about $250. Now about $350. Your budget might hinder your search. Good to go hunting with him. Going with one of my grandsons next week for gun season and youth gun hunt in mid January. Edit- Several years ago, I chatted with the guy in Walmart's sporting goods. He got his first deer with a Cheapo fiberglass recurve bow- 30 lb. draw weight with a sharp broadhead.
