I'm thinking of picking up a couple new Moultrie M880 trail cams. Anyone have any thoughts on them?
    Thanks
    Doug

Natchez Ss has bushnell trophy cams for 69.99. I love the trophy cams. I have 5 of them and they work great. You can't beat that price either.

I would reccomend getting a Covert. They have excellent picture quality and are the best bang for your buck. Not to mention their great customer service. Check them out.

Reconyx is the only way to go. They are the highest price but its well worth it.

If you don't mind the price, spy point is also good. They have some pretty cool features. I have two of them, one will send the pictures online so I can check them remotely.

Sorry Doug, I haven't had an experience with a Moultrie, my local store has them on sale though so I'm thinking of getting one to try out. I've noticed a lot of people take to a specific trail cam company and that's it for them. I'm running a covert, primos, and wildgame innovations and all three have worked great for me. I'm not about to spend hundreds of dollars on a trail camera so if I can find a decent one for less than $100 I'll jump all over it.

I dont have any experience with the newer Moultries, but I do have an m80 and an i40 that work alright.

My Coverts outperform them though, and thats what I would recommend.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was looking for info on the Moultrie M880 because me and some hunting buddies where offered a great deal on them from the locale sport shop if we all bought them. Got them last night and put them out this morning. I'll post some pics in a week or so. I know some other brands are better but this deal we couldn't pass up.

    Thanks again.

I like my covert, no complaints. Plus you can run a cable through it to lock. But bc of trespassing issues seeming to be everywhere I hunt, I do not spend more than $100 on cams. Wildview has a package deal at Gander Mtn for a good price right now.
