The farmers have never seen this deer. This is a high pressure area during gun season, luckily the CRP is bow only, so he does have a sanctuary. As for the mineral lick, yes, there are several places I can slip one in without disturbing the area and I plan to do that very soon. If I can get some pics of this deer in the later summer it is on.
Good luck DC...sounds like a dandy buck for sure. I hear ya on the roadhunter problem. Just remember, they don't always wait until season comes in. Around here, they road hunt in the summer too. :mad1:
