This will be my first year bowhunting, and I'm just looking for some input on what might be a good stand/climbing stick combo that won't break my bank (new or used, whatever I can find). I will be packing it in every day as I will likely be hunting public land. I don't have much to spend so Lone Wolf is definitely out lol. But I'm interested in a hang on stand and some sticks as opposed to a climber just so I'm not limited to certain trees. Any help or recommendations for a cheap alternative that could be easily packed in daily? Thanks!

Hawk, muddy/big game are all good brands.

If you look around, you can often find I hang-on for under $50. Now if you need a real big one or a real comfortable one, they will cost more. My favorite hang on is a "Big Dog" I think? I bought in a local Menards for $34.99. My sticks are not enjoyable to lug around, but I got them for $39 at a ****'s Sporting goods. I have seen the Muddy, climbing sticks, they are cheaper than the Lone Wolf one's, but still over $100

I have the muddy vantage. I packed it in ever time last year. for climbing sticks id go with the rope ones from muddy. They are a little quieter. this year I found a couple climber sticks that I'm just gonna leave in the woods and carrier my stand it and out.

I love my Lone Wolf hang-on and Lone Wolf sticks, but even used they seem to hold their value well so they may be over your budget. XOP is making some nice stuff for a little cheaper. Millennium, Muddy, etc., have nice stuff.
