I have used a traditional climber for a few years and sometimes run into the problem of wanting to hunt out of a certain tree but a big branch is in the way. That being said, I am looking for the best bang for the buck hang on stand and sticks out there without totally breaking the bank. I have researched this topic pretty thoroughly, but would like to get some opinions. I need everything to be as light as possible since I will be walking potentially several miles to my spots. I know there is quite a price range out there. Light, quiet and comfortable are the major components I'm looking for. Thanks for any advice.
I know you’re worried about price but it’s incredibly hard to beat the LWCG set up. Weight, functionality, purpose, ease of use… all great. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It's really hard to get a product both inexpensive and lightweight, reliable, and comfortable. IMO, save your money for the product mhouck recommended, even if it means using your climber a bit longer.
I have noticed that there are two "LoneWolf" brands- LoneWolf Gear, and just LoneWolf. LoneWolf Gear is considerably more expensive and I wonder just how much better it is than the other. Not that the other is "cheap" by ay means.
Check out Novix Treestands. Probably the best price for what you get. And Novix is just a rebrand of the original Lonewolf. If looking for the best and price is not a factor. Check out Hunting Beast Gear. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I just got the Novix Helo stand and it is awesome. Lives up to the LW reputation for sure. There are coupon codes you can get the stand down to $204. Really hard to beat for the quality vs price ratio in my opinion. The Novix sticks are also very good. I had the short ones. I’ve since sold them but would buy them again in a heartbeat.
