I am looking at buying a new deer stand for this season and I am wanting to see what everyone is using. I am trying to decide if I should buy a new climbing stand or buy a set of hang on ladders and us them.

Ladder stands are all the same! Now as to climber, I have two and only use one. I have a Summit Cobra and a Loggy Bayou and only use the Loggy! I really like my Loggy and this is the second one that I have owned. First one wore out and then used it as a lock on and it was stolen. I would not use any other climber now. I am not sure why I even hold onto my summit. I have only used my summit once and have not used it since! Loggy all the way!

My permanent stands on private property are all ladder stands. I have 1 Rivers Edge two man that I really like. The other one I really like is the Big Game "Executive" ladder stand.

All of my public land hunts I use my Summit Goliath climber. A lot of people will tell you they really like the Summit Viper climber.

    Good luck.

I like the Muddy Outdoors hang-on stands...the adjustability and quality you get for the price is about the best out there.
