Shoot the Smackdown and love it! Like the mechanics of being tied to the linb vs. the down cord.

Revolution is a very good rest. I have several friends that shoot them. Would advise you to get the Micro adjust version as they ar more ruggedly built. You should be able to rotate and lock the revolution into place before drawing your bow if you want to. That is what I do with the containment dropaway I shoot.

Everyone is making a rest. But only a few are really great. I use a QAD UltraRest HD. The one before that was the Hunter. Bought the Pro HD because it was much quieter. I did try a new Vital Gear Magnetic rest. I really liked that one also. But because the cock vane has to be at 6 o'clock, one of the Zeon Fuse veins was pushed into my face. No fault of the rest though. Full capture is what you should consider.

What's the difference between the QAD Ultra and the QAD Hunter? Is it simply the ease of fine adjustment?
Does one retune for different arrow and broadhead types?

    I got more questions than a 4yr old :)

I also shoot a Ripcord Code Red and love it. My groups are tighter than what they were before. They are very easy to time.

I shoot a trophy ridge revolution, I love the rest, it releases fast, my bow shoots 305 FPS advertised (not chrono'ed), the instructions are very straightforward. Very easy to set-up, i am doing everything to my bow myself and have never worked on one and i got mine served it and set correctly in less than half an hour. No noise at all from the release that i can hear and my bow is very quiet (NOW ha ha string leeches work great)

I have used the Trophy Ridge Revolution and really liked it. I did not like it as well as the Apache. When I bought my new bow, I was going to go with the Revolution. Unfortunately the original Apache will not fit the Hoyt Carbon Element. Well, that has now changed with the release of the NAP Apache CARBON. Yep, I can say I am one happy camper. I will have one soon. The Revolution is a good rest but, does not compare to the Apache.

I have my QAD do not want to stay up all night the problem, they are quite expensive. Contact with them, so we did some fine-tuning the part of the "U".

I have a trophy taker drop away on my current rig & have had good luck with it. The only thing i don't like is that the arrow moves around in the enclosure (rattle) unless you are at full draw. Plus it was only $49.
