Redfield Raider 550 It is on sale for $130 at Cabalas right now. Have no firsthand experience with them however I do know several guys that have and like it. Seems to get pretty good reviews online as well!

i use a bushnell yardage pro sport, o got mine for $150 i think, it works really well for me. the only problem i found, is when it starts getting pretty low on battery, it might give you a in accurate reading.

Nikon riflehunter 550 is an awesome rangefinder. I use it for bow and gun. I got mine for 180 2 years ago. The price should've dropped by now. Have a good season and happy "finding."

They have replaced the Prostaff550 and Riflehunter550 with the new Prostaff series. Right now Nikon is doing a promo, you can get the Prostaff 3 for $150 after discount. You can also step into the Prostaff 5 for $180. The 5 has much better optics, I would highly suggest it.

Nikon by far and large has the best lasers out there in terms of speed. Faster than Bushnell, Leupold, Vortex, and Leica. The other thing I would consider when looking at a rangefinder in the reflective and non reflective range. When Nikon advertises 600 yards ( on the Prostaff 5) you are getting a true 600 yards on a deer. Compare that to the Bushnell Scout 1000 which will hit a mere 200 on a deer.
