You can get a 2013 PSE Revenge for $589 shipped if you wanna spent just a little more, from American Archery on Ebay. VERY fast bow...dual cam X Force 340 IBO. If it was my...I'd search Ebay for what bow your looking for. Much cheaper than local dealers for me. Also, Check out the PSE Brute X, I love mine...just 5 fps slower than my buddies Heli-m. I think the Diamond Archery makes some good bows as well.
I'm shooting the Bear Encounter. IBO's at 310, 30 1/2" ATA, smooth draw, easy adjustments and RTH at $399. I bought mine bare at $299 and installed my other accessories. I think the total on my bow is between $300 and $350. I think your best bet is to go in to the pro shop/big box store, explain your budget and what you're looking for. The guys at Cabela's, Sportsman's and my local shop were all big helps in helping me make my choice.
