Well Lords will I will be at my job for 20 years this year. They give us $1000 when we reach it. I am really wanting to treat myself with a good duck hunt.
I am looking for either a sea duck trip far enough north to have a chance at all species. Or looking to go down south in the gulf for some pintails and redheads.
I have looked at Elite Long Island Outfiters for the sea duck trip. And I looked at Bay Flats Lodge in Tx for my down south hunt.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or where I my look into going before I book my trip?
My main interest is diver hunting but I would really like to have another pintail to mount. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

For sea ducks I would head to the Pacific. Greater variety and better bag limits. http://peninsulasportsman.com/sea-duck-hunting/
Another unique experience would be a curtain blind hunt in NC. Good variety and your target species. http://www.kendempseyguide.com/page7.html
Here is an alternative to bay flats. https://www.getducks.com/ushunts/texas-duck-hunting-gulf-coast-redheads/

I haven't hunted with any of the above outfitters but I have done some business with Ramsey at getducks.com and highly recommend him.

I would not make an out-of-state duck trip to Arkansas this year. It was a hot, dry fall. There is not near the normal water and the temps just got good within the last week. I haven’t even bothered trying. My friends that have have been disappointed. It is a bad year for ducks.

However, our archery season goes to the end of February and we have lots of public land.

Pink Pony hunts out that direction and I think through a guide, she may be able to help.

Thanks for thinking of me, Travis! We go to Cape Cod usually every year between Christmas and New Years. Sadly this year we got buried with five feet of snow in 30 hours and couldn't go.

We also have a trip planned for September to Saskatchewan. That will be ducks, geese and sandhill crane.

February was a good hunt out in Arkansas for snow geese - the guys got nearly 130 birds (I didn't go). They'll be going back next month.

    We use Northern Skies Outfitters.

I have hunted sea ducks around Boston. I remember Adam was the name of our guide. I'll see if I can find more info. It was a good shoot.

The secrets out on Snows in Arkansas. We had great shooting, Our best day was in the 160's.

It’s a scene that’s for sure. I literally had one land on my blind door.

Adam smith of Perfect limit guide service is who I hunted with in Boston. It was very reasonable hunt. Think the taxidermy cost more.

I was looking at perfect limits web page and they shot 53 banded Eiders last season. That would be a nice addition to the collection.
