Well my plan was to fly out to Ohio late October yo participate In the public land hunt in Wayne national forest in Nov. Doesn't look good for me making that trip. Won't be bake to Ohio until late Nov.

Im looking into buying a hunt from an outfitter but I would like to hear from the forum on which outfitters to look into.

Not really a fan of the outfitters taking me to different locations they have leased. Im looking for one who owns their own land and manages it themselves. A real premier outfitter.

Im not to particular on price just as long as they aren't ridiculously high like a few I've seen ($3500/3 day hunt)

I've been searching google and FB so far. Big would like to hear from first handers

    Thanks family

I've yet to find a reasonable one and have instead decided to hit up some public land in 2015 over in OH, gonna scout this spring some. Good luck with your search though!

Wish I could do the same. This is my first year doing forest firefighting and I won't get done until early Nov. Leaves me little time to Scout

When do you think you will be heading to Ohio? More specific dates.

Wished I could help you, I've went with a couple in OH and I've not been impressed at all. I'm back in on a lease in OH this year, $1600 gets me year round access to 500 acres with 6 total members.

Ohio isn't the best state for outfitters. That said I hunted with a few there successfully before I locked up my lease in south central ohio. There are a couple good ones around.
And Ohio prices are pretty inline with most other places...
