Just a shock to the system. Didn't know there were broadheads out there so expensive. I can buy 12 Slicks plus a set of replacement blades for that. I guess if you have the money, go for it. To each their own.
I agree there are cheaper out there. Slick trick is an example of a great value. However look at the other end of the spectrum. The best selling head out there retails for about 50 for three disposable flimsy pieces of junk. They are one and done if your lucky. Compare that to paying twice as much say for a Solid just for example. You can shoot the head everyday and use it till basically you loose it. Cost more yes, however from a value standpoint it much cheaper.
I definitely agree with you on the $50 disposable heads. Not worth the packaging IMO. I'm also thinking about the wrath I would incur from the wife especially since she knows what I usually spend on heads. That would be a fun argument. Anyway, maybe someday I'll splurge. Now after some more reading I am kind of intrigued.
I shoot tooth of the arrow, 1' cutting diameter. Shoots straight and holds up well. https://toothofthearrow.com/product/broadhead-100-grain/
