I'm looking at getting new arrows. I have been shooting Easton Carbon Axis. I was at Easton FMJ's but the pro at my pro shop said that he has been noticing the Easton's haven't been holding their straightness so well. He suggested Carbon Express Maxima hunters. What are some thoughts on the FMJ's, Maxima's or Pile driver Pass Through Extreme (these seem to be the most similar to what I have been shooting)?

    Thanks

I shoot the Axis and am 100% happy. These are Great arrows.
I will be making a change to the Easton Injexion arrows at some point down the road.

There are a ton of good arrows out there. I prefer these in this order.
    Injexion
    FMJ
    Axis

I am sorry, but your getting fed a line of crap.

The FMJ have more consistent spine then anything in CE line up.
As far as straightness they start out at .002 your not getting much straighter then that. They also have better component system.
Oh and for the record I don't currently shoot them.....

I have been shooitng FMJs for a couple of years now and I have NEVER had a problem with straightness. Sounds like he is trying to push some Maxima Hunters. They are good arrows, but FMJs are Awesome. They hit like a Brick and are dang near indestructible. I still have 21 of the original 23 I bought 2 years ago. I shot Easton Epic Axis ST before the FMJs and they were good arrows too. I have tried other arrows, but I find myself always going back to my FMJs. If you try them, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I'm happy with the performance out of my Carbon Express 350 Red's.

I appreciate all the input. What does anyone know about the bloodsport arrows? I've seen them on Midwest whitetail, but not in a pro shop.

I shoot the Bloodsport Two's. I really like them. Fly great out of my setup! Haven;t had an issue with them yet. Plan on ordering another dozen next month actually.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm gonna start building my own arrows next year and I'll give them a shot next season.

I shoot CE Mayhem Hunters and love them. Killed a lot of deer with them. I went out on a limb and tried those new Deer Crossing Archery arrows. Bought a dozen after seeing a lot of folks on the forums buying them. For the price...it was well worth it. I have been shooting them for a few weeks now. I'm rather shocked at how well made and how great they shoot. I'm starting to think there are the real deal. Don't let the price fool you...I almost did.

What straightness did you get? I got .001 and wish I didn't. I love mine!

I got the .003 and had the shop check them...there more like .002. is that the shop told me. I'm don't care what anyone says...these are some great arrows. I'm still kinda shocked at how well made they are for the price. I got a dozen hunter shafts in a 350 spine then put some wraps from Onestringer.com on them and used NAP Twister vanes....fly perfect. with a 10% off code I used I got them shipped and cut for $68. Bart does know his stuff when it comes to arrows.

Yeah I'm going to continue to use them. What jig do you fletch your arrows with? I want to start.

Look good, and seem pretty strong too.

I shot one into a table by mistake and the arrow was fine.

I have one and its pretty good if you use fast setting glue.

If you can wait and use slow setting glue, the Arizona EZ fletch is a lot better for all arrows.
