Then buy a DPMS or Bushmaster or LAR. They're part of the Freedom Group. ;) (hubby works for another company owned by Freedom Group).

I have owed a few RRA's. My biggest complaint (more so than the cannon contour barrels and them cheaping out on the buffer assembly)with shooting them is they are over gassed, causing excessive muzzle rise.

Shoot the RRA side by side with the Noveske and BCM's and it's holy **** difference in muzzle rise / recoil.

Bench shooting muzzle rise doesn't matter one bit really. But for holding on target while firing or for fast follow up target acquisition it sucks.

High power matches. Definitely not bench shooting. Lol. Bench is a dirty word to those guys.

Personally I like my gas piston upper. ;)

Most of RRA's LPK's are produced here in Illinois still I believe. If the trigger has a square box with an S in the middle then they were machined here, I have a friend who's Sister and Mother own the company and he is the VP. The same group also makes Spikes tactical lower parts kits and triggers which dollar for dollar in my opinion are the best bang for the buck and what I and Buckeye use in our guns from what Scott said. I know my buddy said that out of all of the off the shelf stuff he would recommend Rock River Arms when discussing it with him a couple of years ago.

I would have to agree. Two of my builds have Bravo barrels and both guns have minimal rise; however, they are rifle length gas tube setups and longer barreled guns. Dollar for Dollar Bravo makes the sickest barrels for the buck and their barrels are supposed to be from a factory owned by a sister company of Krieger. If I was buying a complete rifle I would likely get a BCM if money wasn't an issue or maybe a Spikes if I was on a lower budget. Both have solid barrels, lowers, uppers and BCM's.

that's a good set up except I recommend you go iron for your offsets. If you need to use your offset, you better make sure it's going to work (ie if you need to transition quickly; and no batteries required to ensure they will always work.)
