I really like the shape of the grip. It's nothing short of fantastic. I do prefer wood though to be honest. While this grip is 100% functional, I think wood simply looks better. Not sure what others will think of this.

    Not a problem T. ;)

Yes Jeff, I was invited to be on the Corporate Advisory Staff just a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't able to let the cat out of the bag until everything was official.

Thanks Germ, I appreciate it! I haven't shot the Sentinel yet, but I plan to try one for my main 3D bow this year. Once I get one in my hands I'll post my thoughts.

If anyone else has specific Q's let me know and I'll try to get them answered for you.

Rick, I know you probably won't be doing this in the near future, but are you going to be doing a test with fixed broadheads to see how they fly at the new fast speeds? The reason I ask is that this is one concern that my brother has on buying the destroyer 350. He has heard in the past that a fixed blade has a hard time flying the same as field points once you get in the higher fps ranges. He shoots the slick tricks just incase you can shed some insight on this.

I shot Slick Tricks at 312fps out of my Airborne 82nd with absolutely No difference out to 60 yards (that's as far as this Ol' Man can see) ;-)

    Duly noted.

You could have just looked in his Signature.

RJ is the real deal. I will listen to his input on Bowtech or any other bow. He is a good guy.

I am looking at two bows

    Hoyt Matrix 35
    BowTech Sentinel FLX

I hope to have one of these two bows next year.

Atlas - It's my personal goal to not have any "change in tone" at all. I've always respected what you had to say, and I hope you can continue to do the same with me. I'll do my best to share factual black and white data that you can use to form your own opinions of these bows, your a pretty smart guy.........you can connect the dots and form your own opinion. That's not my style anyhow.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything or if you have any other specific questions about the bow.

    Never really notice that stuff.

I'm sure RJ is a nice guy. I just prefer unbiased feedback on gear over advertising promos ;)

Hoyt dealers around here are hard to find (believe it or not) so I haven't seen the Hoyts in awhile. Too bad you are a south paw or I would sell you that tricked out Admiral I have sitting around collecting dust.

Honestly Rick.........no joke, I had no idea you were associated with Bowtech at all........in fact if anything I knew you were not. I thought to myself over the last couple weeks that your posts had suddenly taken on more of a cheerleader tone. Just being honest.

    Don't take it personally.

    You'd be the first ;)

Quick update. I'm absolutely slammed at work this week closing our fiscal year, trying to get those last minute deals in. I'm planning to get out on either Sunday, or Monday to the local club where I can really shoot this thing at some distance, get the DL and everything else fine tuned, and really just put some time in with the bow. I'm limited with what I can do at my house due to no shooting outside, and only 10 yards in the basement.

Right now I've got it turned down to 64lbs, and I'm in the process of building some new arrows to shoot through this bow. I'll be running some new GT Pro Hunter 75/95's, with Muzzy 100gr brass inserts, BH.com wraps, 4" feathers, and 100gr Rage 2 blades through it. I've got all the components except the new feathers already, just need to get those and get the arrows built.

Based on some initial numbers I've run, this arrow should be around 485gr, 17.5% FOC, and should still end up getting me just around 290fps at 64lbs. :p

I'll be in the woods with it in PA the day after x-mas, and have 2x more Saturdays after that to try and get it done. Maybe I'll get lucky and be the first to draw blood with a Destroyer, I've still got 2x doe tags and a buck tag to burn down there. :D;)

Once I have a final tune on this I'll put together a full review, along with steps I went through to tune this thing.

Wow, I can't wait to see what mine will do to my 430 grain Victorys. With a little luck, I can be out the same days with my 340. I just need it to get here.;) Looking forward to your review.

Wow, if you get even close to those numbers that's impressive.
