I've seen people who wear glasses have yellow lenses while hunting. Is there any benefits of it?

Some people think that yellow gives you better visual acuity and clarity without making anything standing in the shadows appear darker as sunglasses can do.

    Welcome to the site!

I sometimes will wear yellow lenses on a cloudy day instead of sunglasses just to keep something there to protect my eyes from brush.

Todd wears a pair of yellow lenses on the show that are actually corrective lenses.

I've never tried this myself but it makes sense. I wear orange and yellow polarized lenses while fishing for the same reasons. The only reason I haven't tried this is because I hate shooting with glasses on.

I had bought a pair of Oakleys and they had an amber "outdoor" lense, I feel like the amber color made things more clear and movement was easier to see.

I think they help eliminate the shadow effect in the woods. I do wear them occasionally, mainly during gun season.
