I'll be after them too. Going to try and get my first one with a bow, this year.

I absolutely love turkey hunting. Turkey hunting is much more enjoyable for me than deer hunting. No scent, only hunt until 1pm and then it's all about mushrooms and fishing.

    Good luck everyone!

Not counting today exactly 60 days till spring gobbler season is here. Ready for this snow to melt, all the cows to be done calving, and to be sitting in my blind with my bow.

Turkey are almost as thick as ticks around here. This will be my first year bowhunting them so I'm pretty excited, previous years I always used a shotgun. It should be quite a rush with the old stick and string. I'm looking forward to it.

38 more days! Been practicing on the 3D turkey target and have sat behind the bales by my chicken coop and called in my turkeys numerous times for practice. (Don't know if I should admit to that one or not)

I hunt in Michigan, where the numbers are improving. We can only kill one bird a year - and I like that. I hunt in Kalamazoo, Barry, and Mecosta counties (SW and Central MI). Where are you looking at hunting? Public or private?
