This is very true. It is like a hunting camp full of hundreds of stories. Great place. Simply the fact we all share a strong bowhunting passion.

I saw 2 good bucks grouped up tonight also. At 4:45 my top target buck (mid 140s) came walking down my food plot road with a 125 or so 8 point I've passed a handful of times this year.

I opted to bowhunt tonight despite it being gun season, and as the bigger buck approached I expected him to continue on the road at 20 yards from me. Instead he made a circle downwind about 45 yards through some brush and fed out into a cut corn field. First daylight sighting of him all year.

This ^^^ I go through phases but definitely post less now than ever before and for whatever reason it is usually in the sub-sections for videography/trail cams/habitat stuff.

This place is still a part of my everyday as over the years I've collected quite a few fellas I call friends and even talk to more than my own family due to our shared passions on this site.

This can very well be true for many here. Once individuals share that same interest in a subject it opens a strong line of communication developing a bond. I haven't seen a whole lot going on in the trail cam section but maybe it was more active in the pre season as that's when most ppl run cams.

This is very true. I met a member here last year who hosted me on a hunt in Ohio this season. He was as nice a young fellow as you would want to meet. I met his lovely wife and adorable little girl, which was really neat. He also showed me his trophy room as well, and that was really something to see!! This young man provided me with probably one of the best hunts of my life, and I didn't even kill a buck. That wasn't because of low deer numbers, as I saw 72 deer in 4.5 days, 25 of which were different bucks, but I was waiting for the right one. This wouldn't have taken place without this hunting site. I'm hoping to go back there next season! :tu:

I also stumbled onto this sight after years over at HNI. I started seeing some familiar names and realized, this must be where everyone migrated to. I use to post a ton over at HNI, actually took me a year, or so, before I found this site. I don't post as much now. One of the reasons, I think is because,I'm all over the place now,on Facebook, other sites, YouTube. Still a great place here, though.
