There are a lot of folks who've been around longer than I have, but I've been around since 2007 on HNI. Most folks moved to BH.com early on and I didn't even know BH.com existed until I stumbled across it in, what was it, 2010? I still remember my first post on here. It was "So this is where everyone went."

As to how my season is going,.... well, I'm having my best season ever. :)

Still here. Don't post as much. I'm busy planning a home build. I have a feeling that's going to take up a lot of my time for the next 1.5-2 years (oh yeah, and kids :) ).

There's a bunch more familiar names. Glad to see you guys still are here. Good Luck the rest of the season if luck hasn't been on your side lately.

I remember there was a somewhat of an exodus from HNI, that's where I came from as well.

I don't have any idea how I found this forum, but that's how I stumble on to most things. I'm not at all, in my opinion, a long time member. I don't post in everything on here, because I just don't know enough to say anything. I left another forum to come here. This is, by far, the best forum I've seen. Thank You for all the knowledge and laughs!

My season is going very well!

This place is a great site. Hang around and soak up everything being shared.

I wasn't sure what a oldtimer was on here. I've been around since 2014.

I look forward to visiting this site every day during the hunting season. It's like my hunting camp, where I can share evenings like I had today. I went to the dentist this morning, then right into the woods afterwards. Sat from 12:30PM-5:00PM, and saw 5 bucks in a group! This is Public land too. Two were small 8pts that I could easily have shot at 10yrds, but there was one real nice 8pt feeding further out that I wanted badly to shoot, he just didn't get close enough before it got too dark.

It's funny, here it's the very end of Nov and I see the most deer activity I've seen since the rut started. I thought it was odd to see a group of 5 bucks traveling/feeding together now. I haven't seen this in the past. Any thoughts on this many bucks being together now?

Been around a while but haven’t posted as much. Generally enter the contest every year. I focus more on western game gear days instead of whitetails.

It is strange that they're grouping back up this early. That usually doesn't happen until food becomes the number one priority. We are still a couple, three weeks away from that here in west ky.

You had two bachelor group's and possibly a single converge on the hottest food source in the area. That food source will likely be the focal point of a frenzy around Dec 17th-23rd, when tail end of the unbred hit the 28 day mark and cycle back in.
