First off just want to say. I have not been on this forum for a few years. No real reason other than life gets busy. I jumped back on a few weeks ago for old times sake. Been great to read through some of the chats. Learn some new things and giggle at some of the posts. Feels good to be back. I had the best deer season of my life two mature bucks with a bow by thanksgiving. I started running and gunning on a good mix of public/private ground. Killed both bucks with in 25 yards being only two sticks high. Complete different feeling for me when you can actually see the deer eyes move. I felt like deer could see me breath. Two perfect shots, and my first buck I have ever actually seen go down from the stand. Hell of a season, and can’t wait for deer season 2025 to get here. Here are the two bucks from this year. First was October 15th “full moon week” on a cut corn field inside corner. Second was November 23rd “full moon week” in a creek bottom funnel. upload_2024-12-31_9-21-49.jpeg upload_2024-12-31_9-24-31.jpeg upload_2024-12-31_9-22-55.jpeg
