    Its pretty much useless IMO. I'd be terrified of my big feet kicking the bow off the stand.

    There is no rubber grommet for the new style holder (the one that looks like the wolf head). My advise is to wrap some tape around that section of the platform to prevent scratches on your limb.

    I don't use the built-in holder much as I do prefer the screw-in bow hanger. However the few times I have used it I've never had any issues or close calls with my bow falling over. It holds it pretty securely.

    I've got the newer style stand so if the rubber piece wont fit it wont do me any good Fitz. Just keep it if you haven't sent it already. But thank you for the offer!

    I have a thirdhandarchery bow holder on my hand climber and love it. Never use the lonewolf holder.

    I use an aftermarket bow holder and attach it to the left side of my bottom platform on the stand. This way the bow grip is practically in my hand if I reach over. I had the jaws and just didn't like the in front of me like tat (thought i was going to kick it out by accident).
