So last season I bought a lone wolf assault II. I regret not getting an alpha hang on II because I feel the assault is a bit small after using it a couple times. Anyway that is not what the post is really about. I left my stand up all winter and summer. I know I should have taken it down but life happened and I did not get the chance. Any way is there anything special I should do before using it this season. Should it still be safe. I have never used a store bought stand before this one I am used to making my own out of wood. Any advice would be helpful. Oh I left my sticks out too.

I would replace the straps for sure.

Check all the nuts and bolts. They should still be good after only 1 year but I always go over everything

At the minimum check all of the straps thoroughly. I've had squirrels chew on some of mine.

Yes check the straps, I went to move a ladder stand the other day and found this.

I think your straps should be fine but definitely need to check them. Only a few bucks for some new straps.

Just make sure you have your harness on.
