LOL you just say that cause Hysell set mine up but that was 2 years ago now. I think that I am in good shape but I will remember that for the future. I do like having Hysell fletch all my arrows though. Don't know if I will end that.
If you want to go with that as the reason then I will back you up! Just know I that I will always remember what really happened!!!
lone wolf vs ameri-step (quick steps)???? i have to use the lone wolf cause its rated up to 350lbs... with my gear on plus back pack i need the xtra piece of mind. could use ropes but would rather just haul up my bow...
I was reading on another board and they were talking about ways to quiet the LoneWolf Sticks. They do tend to make a lot of noice if the buckles bang against them when hiking in. One guy said he took the end cap off and filled it with foam. Then wrapped the poles in camo tape. Said he has never had a problem with noise since. Has anyone tried this or done anything? I haven't really noticed much noise but figured I would ask!
I did not have that problem but I did velcro the seat to the stand. I will show you next time and I have a whole roll of the stuff.
last yr i borrowed a buddy's lone wolf gear and loved it, almost bent it but loved it! not an issue with noise really
I don't really have any sound issues except sometimes when I am hiking in and a clip hits one of the hollow poles. But if I pick it right I don't have that problem.
Good luck T. Wish that I was able to join you. Would like to get up in a tree with a cam a few times with you before the season ends!
Alright Ferg I wacked a yearling female about 08:45 this morning with a rifle. I was on the phone with the wife and she came out so a buck sticker is in order here. Kudo's to Dukemichaels for letting me use that stand on public land. Thanks Mike, T P.S.- I know you will miss her, the DIK, lol
Congrats T. Really. It's awesome that you were able to score yet another buck tag when I can't get one.
