I've owned Summit and Ol' Man treestands in the past with no real issues. I looked over a Lone Wolf Sit n Climb today and like it (particularly its ability to pack in a slim fashion). That said, I also like the Summit Cobra, and I'm wondering if the Lone Wolf is really worth the additional $$$.

The answer to this question is always yes.

Although the sit and climb is not my favorite model. Maybe if I tried the flip-up seat I would think different.

I sold my sit and climb for a summit...been regretting it ever since. I think it's worth the money.

I have 2 sit and climbs and a LW Alpha lock on and 8LW sticks. One of my sit and climbs is around 25 yrs. old and is as good as if I took it out of the box yesterday. Lone wolf products are expensive but will last the rest of your life.

Personally I’ve owned several different climbers over the years. Summit Saber, api bowhunter, ole man.

Nothing personally compares to the Lone Wolf . I bought them when they first came out and had the “V” hatchet.

Upgraded every year pretty much. Loved when the belt was introduced.

I still own 2. I owned the sit and climb but sold it. I prefer the hand climber. Yes the seat sux. But it as you noticed packs thin, deploys quick. Has a solid non tubular sound while climbing, making it super quiet.

My ole man is more comfy, but a disaster to pack quickly. I thought about using the ole man seat and the Wolf base but they don’t match up well packing. Lol hey I tried.
