OK.. So I am big guy, 6'6" 250 ish... Not fat, but big. Got the LW Sit and Climb and its TIGHT. I am worried with my thick cold gear I am going to rip something or just be flat out uncomfortable. Is the WIDE Sit and Climb better for those that have one? They are out of stock everywhere. With the made in china castings and the fact this thing doesn't fit me, I am strongly thinking about returning it. Got it at D1cks on sale for $277.00. Thoughts? Sean
You're a pretty good size boy. I am quite a bit smaller than you and had a tough time wit the standard Sit and Climb. It dug into the sides of my legs and after sitting on it for a while, it was almost unbearable. I'm not trying to steer you away from the LW, but in my opinion, you'd be better suited with a different stand, like a Summit. They're bigger and much more comfortable. Not to mention a good bit cheaper depending on the model you choose. The wide version of the LW is I believe the same width as the Summits, but I still think the LW's cramp you in. There is just not a lot of room on those stands from a platform standpoint. I hunted out of a LW for one season and that was enough for me. I'm 6' 185lbs. I need a little room on my stands.
