I know the seats are 1/2" thicker for this year, but haven't had the opportunity to really check them out yet. Should have a couple new stands on order next week so when they come in I'll let you know.

The Muddy sticks are a lot heavier and the gear makes an awful noise quite often when you step on the step.

I have 6 silverback sticks, 2 API baby grands and a summit open shot....So LW has absolutely nothing that would improve my success, set ups or efficiency in any way.

But LW does make an awesome stand and if thats what you want, thats great. ;) If someone gave me one I would use it, probably just as back up though.

I love my Lone Wolf stand and sticks.

I only use it when I am setting up and hunting that day though. It goes in with me and then back out with me at the end of the day. My only complaint is the seat, as I usually end up standing most of time while hunting from it.

I'm not real fond of my lw climber. Thought about selling it. Now my lw climbing sticks with muddy stands. Incredable.

Yep, I've experienced that as well.

I do love their cam-action teats or whatever their called where you throw a rope around the tree and snug them up inside them... wished I could put those on my LW sticks instead of the clangy buckles.

They last a long time. I actually feel bad typing this, but I honestly still have the first LW strap that came with my original Alpha (old tear-dropped shape) that I bought something like 12 or 13 years ago. Maybe even longer. They last a very long time, but you should follow the manufacturers instructions which is to replace every 5 years I think?
