I'm wanting lone wolf climbing sticks, but my dad doesn't think they are worth it. He saw the leverage ones and thought they might be better. So which one is the best? Reviews for both sticks? Any help is appreciated.

Have seen the leverage sticks but havnt used them. I am a little biased but gotta say that Lone Wolf has some great products. Made right here in Midwestern USA. Very light, solid, and fast setting up and taking down. I can pull a filming set and 4 sticks out of a tree in a couple minutes. Setting up is very quiet and fast. Good luck with your decision. I'm sure others can help you out in your comparison as well.

Agree 100%. I love my LW set. I have 4 sticks with an Assault II and its is VERY light and fast to set up and take down. Really mobile, just overall and awesome product. But the MAIN reason I bought a LW is because it was made right here in the USA.

With 4 Lone Wolf sticks you can average 16-20 feet depending on spacing.

The Leverage sticks look intriguing, but I don't know anyone who has used them so I can't comment on how well they work in the field. From looking at them I can say I prefer the LW VersaButton system better than their hook/loop system for fastening to the tree. Also, the V-bracket that attaches to the LW sticks rotates, which allows them to conform to the tree better. This is especially true on crooked trees. It looks to me like the Leverage bracket is fixed in place.

And as was already mentioned, the LW stuff is 100% made here in the USA.

i have lone wolf sticks and love them. My boss bought some leverage sticks this year and I got to take a look at them. They are a nice stick but seem way heavier and the packability is not as easy as the LW sticks. Hope this helps.

The Leverage sticks are definitely fixed in place.

Is there anything keeping someone from loosening the nut, to all them to swivel?

Have this same dilemma. Right now I am leaning towards leverage because they have dual steps where LW is one over the other. I think this would be very nice when hanging the stand. Didn't know about the v bracket on the LW was on a swivel though. That could come in handy.

I just got some leverage sticks for xmas, for the $ they are a pretty sweet stick, and I really like the dual steps. I would agree that if $ is not an issue its pretty hard to be the LW sticks though. My leverage sticks are 2.5 lbs a piece I believe.

I have and only use the Lone Wolf Alpha and Sticks, they are super easy to hang and pack! Looks like you would be limited to straight trees with those leverage sticks because the v bracket doesn't swivel....

Yes because they are painted a little darker than the normal sticks so they are selling them cheaper. I just ordered a set before Christmas.

I have the Muddy sticks. Like em alot. Steps on either side, rope attachment so no clanging as you install. Bracket swivels for crooked trees.
