For you guys that use Lone Wolf hang ons, do you keep the offset bracket on your stand at all times or do you take it off and just keep it with you? I just got my assault hang on in and dont know if i need to put it on or just keep it with me just in case. If i do keep it on will it effect the way it sits on the tree that is straight and the bracket isn't needed?

I have never put it on mine. To be honest don't even think I know where it is anymore.

Mine is always on and I use it all the time. You can use it on a straight or crooked tree.

I will keep mine on. They have the the E-Z hook system that requires you to remove the bracket, but lets you just hand the stand from the E-Z hook for quick set up. I have contemplated ordering a few of those.

I'm using the e-z hang hook on few trees and it makes it faster in my opinion setting up and it's really nice for those trees on state land.

I forgot that you can't use the EZ hanger with the bracket. Think I will leave it off then. I love using that EZ hanger.

If you're not using the EZ Hanger you MUST have the offset bracket on at ALL TIMES in order for the stand to be safely and securely locked into the tree. I never use the EZ Hanger simply because the stand is easy enough to hang without it that I never really saw the need. I tried it a few times and could never get the stand as solid as I can with the offset bracket on there to dig into the bark.

This right here is what makes Lone Wolf stands so worth the investment. Their adjustability is phenomenal.

Negative. You can NEVER have too many straps, and I believe I either tossed or gave away my hooks long ago.

Where is the " dislike" button? That's ok. Think I will order a few though.

Okay so I'm using it as a run and gun public land set up with the ez hang system. So until I get 100 percent used to hanging it I think Imma take the bracket off. Once I start to really get it down with the ez hang system ill put the bracket back on. I didn't know you couldn't use them both!
