I hunt using a 'run & gun' set-up and you are much better off spending your money on LW sticks than a LW stand. If you can afford both, great, but the sticks should be the priority IMO.

Look into the Gorilla Silverback Scout. Lightweight and easy to set up.

I am all for Buying American Products, But I have so Many stands up, If I was to go with All Lone Wolf, I would Be Broke, and could'nt afford to even hunt. I know they are Great Stands, But I have to Buy Cheaper stands, And I fill just as Safe, as long as I have my HSS Safety vest on I am good. Thats just My Opnion.

Agreed. My set up is muddy sticks with the scout. The sticks are a better investment.

The sticks are as critical as the stand. Having one without the other is like buying a bow without a string. Trust me here - save your money and buy both when you can afford! The sticks are THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!! SO MUCH EASIER!!!

I have an Assault 2 and 6 sticks. The Assault is awesome, except I wish I would have gone with the Alpha instead cause of the foot platform size, it would work better for my big feet. Also on the sticks, They are great and they match up nice to the stand, but they don't have a foot rung on both sides to get a level stand while your hanging your stand for the first time. This can be a real pain in the butt especially after a long hike. Leverage makes sticks that have foot rungs on both sides and I like those better than the LWs right now, I am thinking about selling my LW sticks to get those.
