I have a lone wolf hand climber I absolutely love it for the weight pack ability just a great stand butttt I’ve used summits for ever and I’m use to having that rail around me and kind of sitting down in the stand. So when sitting on my little lone wolf seat it’s a little nerve racking as I feel like i could fall off the edge at any moment. Has anyone ever added a shooting rail or maybe a rail like the sit and climb has? Wondering if there’s something I could do or if I have to just get the sit and climb

I have not added a rail. I have however used third hand archery stablizer straps and I generally sit with the seat pretty close to the platform. I like my knees bent. The straps make it crazy solid. No fear of slipping off or falling unless I fall asleep.

I have third hand straps on mine as well love them. Falling asleep is one of my biggest worries I’ve always taken a nap here and there while in the tree in my other climbers and sleep really good no way to do it in this lone wolf though. May have to just see if I can trade it for a sit and climb or just buy a sit and climb

When I hunted out of a tree, the LW sit and climb, which I still have, was my stand of choice. IMO, it's the best climber on the market for various reasons. I've had it for 20 years with zero issues. Best to get the XL traction belts.

    Super quiet!

May I ask what seat. you have on it? Any pics? I also have two sit and climb seats but, never used them (different versions). I strictly use the hand climber. Maybe I am missing out!!!1

My sit and climb has the hammock seat that came with it, which is not the most comfortable seat in the world when sitting long hours. So, I have an additional cushion that I can use to make it more comfy for the extended sits. I also made the time consuming effort to tape the entire stand to make it extra quiet.

I like the rail around you as well. I have the LW sit and climb wide, and although I don't use it a ton anymore, I sure do love it.
