What is up with their lack of stock?!?!?!?!

You would think they would have a good supply for the season of their Alpha stand ...

T, why aren't you getting it somewhere else other than them if they are out?

Gander Mountain.com says they have em. And they do the free shipping thing. I know the one down here has them.

Thanks guys ... Gander is 20 minutes away ... they close at 6, so i will head there tomorrow .. they are also the cheapest out there ...

I want to hunt some new areas that my climber can't get up ..... so I will have the perfect, one, two punch in treestands with my Sit and Clinb and my Alpha ...

Gonna go with the LW sticks unless any of y'all can convince me on the Muddys????

Good luck finding anyone with actual stock. LW has been out for months. I was told it was a problem with some of the original castings for this year that had to be worked out, which pushed delivery time on stands back to the end of September. Hopefully they'll have some soon b/c I need a new stand and sticks myself!

It all depends on if the LW stuff comes in stock soon. If I can get LW I will. I personally prefer the longer stick as I can get higher with the same amount of them. If I can't get LW stuff relatively soon, I have no problem picking up another Muddy stand and a set of sticks.

Justin, what stand did you end up going with for that "leave in" set you were thinking? Did you go with the Ol Man?

Unfortunately we are going to be dealing with this issue with LW. All 09' supply was made in the USA, and if you noticed the $20 price drop in stands when they came back down to there original prices its bc they are being made in China now. Since Andrea sold the company there has been all kinds of drama with LW. Another HUGE change most of us will start seeing is that LW's copyright patent runs out at the end of this year meaning there will be a ton more stand companies copying there simplicity. This will mean a larger market for us a hunters and cheaper prices for similar quality. The truley nice thing about LW is they are a solid one piece cast and make NO noise which is why ive stuck with them for years! Just a little heads up on whats going down with LW

I ordered a LW Alpha and sticks back in early July and didn't get my order until the first of September.

I love my lone wolf stuff, it always seems like there are problems somewhere down the line with stuff you use the most and like the most, it never fails...

I already had an Ol' Man that I won at Campbell's in 07 still in the box in my garage, so I just hang that one on Saturday. :D I'm most likely going to be picking up two Gorilla King Kong HX stands as well. The platform is about the same size as a LW and for a set that I'm not going to move a lot they will work just fine. I have a Kong HX I used last year and really liked.

Still got 6 or 7 LW stands that I'll use when jumping around between spots, but I can't justify the price of buying any more of them, especially if they're not sets I'm going to move a lot.
