Yeah, enjoy it! You'll soon find that your climber will not be seeing any action this season! To me the best set up there is!

I watched the video on the Lone Wolf site lastnight about how you put them together and how to set them up on the stand for backpacking them. They look awsome. Can't wait to get the sticks. So tired of all the traditional bulky/heavy sticks!!! Should get the sticks this weekend. Probably get the stand next week!!!

You have made the best purchase ever! Yes Lone Wolf is a client, but they make the best stick and stand on the market. I love mine! Guys keep in mind that the e-commerce site is coming along and will be up next week. We hope that all of you consider getting your gear from out site.

Todd, I would be happy to wait till next week. Just wondering if any savings I get from your site on heavy items like sticks and stands would be gone in shipping charges?

You think you worked hard for that hundo? That was the luckiest shot I have seen in a long time! Then you don't even show up to defend the title this year. I think you should just give it back to him anyways!!!

Hey man, I had to sweat through three previous rounds, then I had to deal with the threat of bloodcrick, mo_bowhunter, and that professional 3-D archer husband of LadyForge....

    I done worked hard.

Plus, I wasn't suppose to shoot. I had an ailing back.

All that and more Fergus.....all that and more!

Okay fine, I'll end up giving Todd his hundo back.

Peak, if your looking for a Climber, Sportsmans Warehouse in New Berlin has 2 LW sit and climb climbers on sale for $260.00. They are the last two stands they have in the store and for a smoking deal! I have NEVER seen a LW on sale before! Just thought I give you a heads up!

like you stated....choice of trees, which isnt a problem for you.

I know in a few places I hunt, climbers wouldnt get you very far at all...other places, they are golden.

Anyone hunting the pine plantations of the deeper south would be a fool not to use a climber though, now that I have seen those woods through turkey hunting.
EVERY tree is perfectly straight and climable.

I'm with TEmbry on this one - a lot of the spots I hunt there's no way in a million years you could use a climber. A lot of trees look like this!

As for helpful tips on using the LW sticks - learn how to stack them and secure them to your stand quietly before you do anything else. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Also, Todd from WKP showed me that on each stick you should alternate the direction of the buckle when they're stacked together to avoid having them accidentally clank together when you're walking in.

My only other advice would be not to put them too far apart and overextend yourself trying to get up those few extra inches, and try to avoid using them on shagbark hickory trees if at all possible. Every time I do they seem to make a lot of noise and never stay put b/c of that damn bark. They'll work, but at your own risk and with a lot of noise.

That's all I've got. Good luck with them, you made a wise purchase grasshoppa. :D
