    You can stand a LOT closer to the tree with the S&C upper (v. the HC). Not even close. Just info. for those still contemplating the stand.

    Flip the S&C bar to the "up" position. Use the strap under the seat to attach to the bar in that position.....and you can literally get to within inches of the tree. You can get closer (stding)....with the bar in the "up" pos......v. under the seat.

    I tried all of that in 28 deg weather and the seat made more noise when you touched it than my Summit. LW needs to look into a quieter material for their S&C seat. jmo
