Just got back from my conference being gone all week - Assault was waiting for me when I got home today...

So playing with it now in the living room, sorting out the stuff with it.

Offset Bracket or the EZ HANG thing?

Initial impression is that that with the bracket on, the seat does not fold flat so the EZ Hang would be the way to go.

    What am I missing?

Still waiting on my sticks - they are arriving Tuesday. Taking off from work to hunt the rut next Wed - Friday.

Offset bracket all the way. The seat folds up and down fine with the bracket on, not a problem at all. And you can use the EZ hang system with the offset bracket on - I do it all the time.

Great choice on stand/sticks - you won't be disappointed.

What do you do with your tree straps when you back pack it? There is a method shown in the support videos to wrap the Alpha with sticks on...but I notice on the Assault that there is not the indents in the seat for sticks, and the same points to wrap the straps around don't seem to match the Alpha...

    Suggestions?

    Thanks

Got my sticks - mounted up...

Do you worry about the V tearing the seat cushion?

I don't use the assault nearly as much as I use the alpha but, if you tighten the sticks on there good enough, they shouldn't move around and tear anything.
