Considering purchasing the Lone Wolf Alpha hang on stand and climbing sticks. Do many of you have this stand currently and what are the reviews of it.

    All opinions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Great stand. Quiet, light, easy to set up and rock solid in the tree. I bought my first LW (an assault) 5 years ago after siting in my brother alpha. After one year of using it, I sold all my other stands.

My biggest recommendation would be to get at least 4 sticks. It'll let you get a bit higher. In some areas I've used just 3 sticks, in others I've been at the top of 7 sticks! ( <-- big tamarak in WI for Rifle season)

If you get one, you'll love it.

Lone wolf makes excellent stands. I have their sit and climb and I love it. Very quiet stands as the platforms are made out of one solid piece of aluminum. Makes them much quieter in the cold where other stands creak with welds. Their climbing sticks are also way ahead of the competition in terms of lightweight and ease of use. Only bad things I have heard are that the seat is not very comfortable and you might need to buy a few accessories. Otherwise they are an excellent adjustable stand.

Decent stand. easy to setup and take down. I can't stand the seat though. I can't sit for more then 2 hrs. They do sell an aftermarket seat on the lone wolf website but for $60 just aint worth it for me. I still just use my summit sd climber. I need something comfy that I can sit in for a while.
