I have two Browning buckmarks and a BH.com sticker on my truck, but no GMC or Sierra logos anywhere. I guess that means I'm neutral
I'm not a big logo guy. I used to be because, like Justin said, I wanted people to know what type of person I thought I was. My car is stickerless, and I usually always wear a plain black tee shirt, blue jeans, a white pair of air force ones, and a plain black hat. I am lame.
Like everything in life - there's exceptions to every rule. Not every purchase we make is driven by brand loyalty or the need to associate with some company or group. However, you have to admit there is some part of your buying decision that is associated with the logo on those clothes or those golf clubs. It may not be because you like the logo itself or want people to know you're wearing Under Armour, but rather because you associate the Under Armour brand with good quality clothing that you enjoy wearing and will last. Put the exact same UA shirt next to a shirt with no logo on it and 9 times out of 10 people will buy the UA shirt, even if it's a few bucks more. The power of branding, even on a subliminal level, is pretty amazing.
no stickers on my truck, i stick em to my freezer and fridge in the garage!!! i do like wearing logos of companies and people i support. especially friends, love wearing their clothes and getting questions about what i have on, who makes it and what they are all about. bh.com, total skull, flag nor fail, UA, mathews and carhartt are a few brands that i normally wear.
Yeah I guess for me it's more that its "proven" and can be trusted to some degree without too much thought being put into it. You know you can't go too wrong with taylor made, titleist, nike, Underarmour, etc... They've been putting out quality products for a long time and it's all been field tested. I would be more reluctant and have to seriously hash out something from a lesser company. Not saying it wouldn't be a possiblility. But they are almost always weeded out immediately because you pretty much know what you're getting from the big boys. So that becomes the starting point. And usually the ending point. I agree though, branding is very powerful. Speaking of which.... why isn't the BH.com girls more available on your home page? Talk about branding . Bunch of guys on this site, trying to sell clothing? Just sayin... Hell even Germ ended up in a pink tank top.
BH needs to sale a T-shirt with some catchy phrase about the "Vito". I am first in line to buy it..... Even if it does have a Bowhunting.com logo on it. It's all in good fun....
