I'm up to my ears in meetings, phone calls and other operational things to get this up and running. I dont' really have the time to dabble in all the administrative office stuff (hence why I hired someone). But as usual I'm going to have to take a day and get it done. So, like.... today! Anybody know of any program or website that is good to create one? The company name is Bee Spider Free. I had a couple ideas: maybe a outline of a house with a circle around it (like a barrier) and a bee and spider on the outside of it? Or a guy with a spray bottle squirting a bee and a spider. A spider web in the background of the whole thing and a bee hive somewhere. Something along those lines. But I kind of want it more towards the cutting edge side rather than animated. Any thoughts or direction would be apprecitated.

I'm brainstorming... you definitely want to try to avoid anything too tacky and cheap looking. If you're wanting to incorporate spiders and bees into it I'm thinking maybe a house with a porch that has spider webs in the corners with a tree nearby that has a bee hive hanging from it with bees surrounding? I'm trying to think how that would look paired with the business name and contact info without being over crowded.

Yes... that's something along the lines I was thinking. How to make it so people actually know/see what it is and how to fit the info. Also same logo used for shirts, brochures, etc....

I know you are probably swimming in up front costs, but I'd farm this one out to a graphics design guy. This logo will be the face of your company... Your brand for several years to come. Don't go cheap and try doing it yourself. Someone like Matt would know a lot more about who could do jobs like this though.

A bee with 8 spider legs in a crosshairs could look cool if designed by the right person...

There was a recent thread on this. I can't remember the title though. Did you get to see it?

If you find your logo soon enough, everything is 33% off right now I think - Just heard an ad this morning.

I'm nowhere near as good as most, but I thought I would throw an idea at you as a starting point. A little more "edgy." The bee isn't done, but it's my lunch break, and wanted to get an idea uploaded so you had a general idea. Mind you it's a very rough draft.

If you want to do a front/back design, it would allow you to keep a more clean look with lots of white space.

No problem. Like I said, it's a break from the routine. I enjoyed it. Good luck with everything.
