I was wondering how many use one over another. I fell out of a Lock On several years ago and started just
using my summit viper instead of trying to get back up in a lock on. I know I have limited myself and more than likely not been able to get in the best area or tree. Maybe one day I will muster up some courage and get back up in one. Which one do you prefer?

I hunt out of both. I prefer my lock-on but use the climber when I'll be sitting longer sits.

I use both man. There are advantages to both. I fell 20 ft. 3 years ago and landed on my back so I do not get up in either kind without my Hunter Safety System. I like the lock-on because it's quiet and I can climb right up the ladder and sit down. I like having the portability of a climber as well as the comfort of a climber. You also may feel a little safer with that enclosure around you. I actually fell from a climber so both make me nervous without a harness on. They both have there places that's for sure.
