I am looking for some real life results with 2 blade bloodrunners.. Please post your experiences...

Also, locally I hear some people bashing them for durability (not that I put a lot of faith in my locals) but on the net I haven't heard as much.

Help set me straight with these heads on how they really perform. I have almost bought a pack for the past week, but haven't been able to make myself yet.

i have them in my quiver now, but havnt killed anything with them yet...

i know they fly pretty true to my field points...really didnt have to make a change at all in my sites from FP to BH..

they did rust pretty fast when i was in the rain hunting for 2 nights in a row...but wiped them down and seem to be ok....

ill def. post some pics on here when i kill something with them...thats about all i can help with at the time, haha

Watch Graf's antelope video. He busted the near leg and the head poked fully through the other side of his goat.

This is how the head looked afterwards.

Probably the Indian and not the bow, but I've shot 3 deer this year with the bloodrunners and I've only recovered one. The last was a big doe Monday night, complete pass thru stuck in the ground 6 inches. Felt/Looked/she acted like it was a fatal hit, I watched her run for 150 yards and tracked her for 300+ b/f we lost blood. I won't use them on anything but coyotes from hence forth. Could just be mental at this point, but i have plenty of Rage heads.

Scott, I had one tipped on my nocked arrow last night. As soon as I drop the string, I'll hit ya.

Not looking to switch per say, as I would carry two GrizzTricks and 2 Bloodrunners in my quiver. They just look mean, I may want to try them to satisfy my curiousity, like I did with the Rage heads in 2008.

I'm not a fan of the Bloodrunners, and only luke-warm on expandables in general. I figure that the 100grain Muzzy 3-blades I've used for years have NEVER let me down and almost always pass clean through, so why bother switching. I tried the Bloodrunners and didn't get "guaranteed expansion" when using my broadhead target... a couple passed through without opening all the way.

I'm curious... are you guys switching to the mechanicals for the flight characteristics or because some of them give a bigger cutting surface and wound channel?

I do not have any issues with my broadhead flight. I look at it as, the shorter my tracking job is.... The better.

This is why I shoot a monster 4 blade fixed head, and a large cut 2 blade expandable at times as well.

    *EDIT*

To add, this was a rage hole from 2008 of mine... This is why I am curious about the Bloodrunners....

I can pretty much "plug and play" any broadhead on my bow and get satisfactory results with my fieldpoints.

What he's saying is, if a bow is in tune, any broadhead will fly same as the fieldpoints.

I've seen a few posts about a whistling noise (Maybe 3 blade) coming from them but with that being said nothing but good reviews most of the time.

I just had 4 packs sent to my dads house. Told him to take 2 of the packs and test them out for me, so I know whether or not I want to use them when I get back. So far he says he is really impressed. He is not a mechanical guy at all. Shoots just like his field points and doesnt have any whistling noise. He is up in the tree right now and will be until monday, So hopefully I will have some pictures and more info to help you out.

You can buy practice heads...I don't shoot my actual broadhead into the target...it came with 4 in a pack aand shot it once or twice just to reinsure myself before going out...I like them a lot so far
