I hate being sick so I took my ailing lungs out for a after season hike. Eeggaddds! This is the piece I didn't really hunt this year. Found 5 deer remains and two shot hit spots. These guys are idiots. Like shooting a deer on my place would leave no signs. A few fawns were lost. This property is steep, pics don't show well. A swamp at bottom and one half way down, a half mile run top to bottom. Rubs every where. Two new posted signs on my land . Those come down next warm up. Really, walked 15 yrds past a sign to place one . Didn't even bother pulling the old sign, which went up on last owners own survey markers.
I tried to get a pic of our local lake in the valley. I can see most of it's length from a couple of stands. Kinda cool. I actually love this piece but it is a a tough one several streams and a couple of cascade falls wet, wet, wet. 20191230_132834.jpg 20191230_132348.jpg 20191230_131931.jpg 20191230_131736.jpg

A friend has had three deer dumped on her property. Missing antlers, hooves, tarsal glands. Nothing more.

This piece isn't " dumpable", though it has always been the escape route when hit .Every year I find them dead in or along the streams in the upper swamp and lower one. Definitely I'd never attempt a quick drink out of any of the springs/streams.
