Day 2. I am setup on an outside corner of hard woods with Marsh land to my north and west. Setup with a north wind. There is a good number of rubs and acorns on the ground as well. Someone shot a doe on this property. I first found the gut pile on a bean field edge then found the impact site and blood trail just in the woods on my way in.

This little guy showed up this morning at 7:00. Small button buck. Decided to shoot him with camera phone instead.
I'm up in the stand right now...with a slight rain mist....looks to be a good night...well report later..
I have a NE wind again today. It has rained all day up until about an hour ago. This is the last of this front. Conditions warrant the same setup as last evening. Hopefully I have similar results.
Well that sucks Sean. I'd like to see how you're doing in Quantico. You gotta kill a bunch of deer this season so we can get you in with Bob Livingston and me. I just got a fourth property today. The owner said they're over run with bucks more than does.
yeah, 5 is my goal for just that reason! I got the shooting part down, I am dropping into 2" circles now that I have the bow tuned up. Got the IBEP part just need the kills.

Yes we do im out with capcalvin hunting in NW Indiana good location lots of deer activity good deer runs and alot of doe out. Saw a nice 6 pointer the other day we shall see the season is young
