Hey yall. New here from Indiana. Urban archery started last wed. Passed on a six pointer last fri. Waitin for a meaty one. I'll try to figure out how to log on when I'm on stand this weekend. Been close to 90deg. here and very windy. Should be in 60s and calm tomorrow morning. I'll try to report then. Later
I'll see what I can do to join the thread this next Friday. What phone and method is everyone using? I have an IPhone and the photbucket app, guessing I probably need to create a YouTube account if I want a video option? The simpler the better
welll OHIO bow season opens up in the morning..so ill be live from the stand in about 6 hours....im so pumped...no sleep for me tomorrow morning... good luck to anyone getting in the woods in the morning...peace out...
Okay guys I'm just settled in. Should be a nice sit. Wind has died down and the coldfront is here. 47 deg wind out of the nw. Wok Wish me luck
Live from my stand NW indiana. Have to go to work in 2 hours, ill be back for an evening sit. tomorrow is an all dayer. good luck everyone!
First sit of the year right now...all I'm seeing is a bunch of squirrels, not to much moving this morning...gonna probably get down in an hour or so and hit it back up this afternoon
Opening mornings view of defeat. I jumped one deer on my way in. Sounded like it had heavy feet, so I'm not to pumped about that. Zero sightings so far. I will hang out 30 more minutes.
Got to my stand half hour before any daylight. 5:30 central daylight savings. Saw 2 does, 3 fawn I've been seeing every other morning between 6:30-7:30 am. Havent seen much afternoon activity yet. I'll be back out this afternoon.
I'd like to know if anyone else passes time while on the stand using other smartphone apps for the outdoors? I like to use bird and tree identification apps.
Setup just in the timber off of a marsh. I have a couple nice rubs 15 yards away. Time will tell if anything shows!
Had deer moving around me like the Blair witch right at shooting time. Didn't see one of them cause of the cover/ level of light... I'm worried I spooked them but it was too dark to really tell.
