In the tree. Great night a little rain. Ever have a sit when every thing in the woods looks like a deer and every noise sounds like one? Driving myself crazy way to antsy. Gonna give myself a flippin seizure

FAIL!!! Not catching any breaks here early season that is for sure. After last night farmer decided to start harvesting the corn within 1 hour of shooting time and then today I figured I would be hunting over freshly cut corn all night.

Nope he pulled in again an hour before shooting light again and starting planting winter wheat.

    Oh well, crap happens. :)

5 sits and 18 hours on stand so far this year and 0 zero deer sightings.

Far from being frustrated yet. But I will admit I am a little perplexed. If I could get a freaking west wind (prevailing wind) on a day where I could hunt that would help.

We will get it done here eventually I think. Just surprised at the slow start.

Next time out for me will probably be Sunday. Guess what? East wind predicted again.
