    I hate when that happens!
I have 1 of each it I'm picking up another hanger next week. When I put up hangers they stay there for the season. I use the climber for new areas.

Wow checked the weather again and you guys might be hearing from me "live from the stand" in about 10 hours. They changed the anticipated wind direction since this morning. I'm going to get up and check the wind and if it's still right I will be out there for the opener. Either way I will be in a stand come tomorrow night.

Sittin in a tree for the first time this year. Got acorns dropping everywhere and a couple trails intersecting right by me. Just wish it wasn't so warm out.

Buddy got busted about 100 yards from me. I was wondering why there was a deer blowing directly upwind of me lol. Did see a squirrel that would go B and C easily.

I almost got busted. One of the does got spooked and took off a short distance. She came back and the other does showed up with a few fawns. I'd have taken one big does but we are antlered only in NH right now.

I was going to go out this morning. The alarm went off at 4:45 and all I heard was thunder and lighting. I went back to asleep within 30 seconds. We will try tonight as it is perfect weather.

The acorns are raining down from the oaks this afternoon.

The sun coming out now is not helping my chances for early deer movement

Boy I see I need to upload smaller photo's hey? Sorry about that. BTW my Curve doesn't not take very good photo's. It is what it is.

The only thing I saw was chipmunks, squirrels and 1 big fat raccoon which would of been dead right now if he didn't come out during prime time.

I'm planning on going out in the morning. Going to have a few beers and watch some Sat night football.

Where the heck is everyone else?

Thank god I'm not in VA!!! Just kidding... :poke:

Funny part about it is that I've seen and killed more deer on Sunday night than any other evening. Sunday evenings have always been kind to me for some reason.

I'm just surprised no one else jumped in this evening. It was slow.... both in the hunting sense and in the forum sense. Still, it sure beats sitting at home. I enjoyed it.

I just checked the weather and same as this morning. Unless it looks really bad out I will be in the stand come morning and I'm sure I will do an evening sit tommorow as well.

House behind yes. Road in front, no. That is a standing water swamp. The deer are funneled between the house and the swamp as this is the only place in the area to cross.
