I'm up in a quickie stand. Wife was busy and said go hunt. Not the best spot but I do have pics of a split brow 11 pt here. No monster but a good deer. Seen turkey on the next farm over, hope they come my way.

I plan on being out tomorrow morning. It's mama's B-day so I'll be home before she gets home from work.
I have to do some scouting for a park management hunt that starts this Sat.

Well I've been in the treestand since 5:30am. I had 3 sets of eyes watching me as I crossed to the stand. It's been shooting light for a bit but nothing yet. I saw some nice bucks at distance last time I was here in an afternoon sit. We'll wait and see what develops

Just had a big ole hawk land on a branch right above my head. The squirrels were going crazy. I tried to get a picture but there were too many branches in the way.

Got up this morning to lots of lightning and thunder. Looks like it is letting up so with any luck I can get out soon!

Headed out soon to check out a new location close to home. Maybe even sit for the afternoon we'll see.

Good luck GABowhunter! Go get em'

I am live from the ground! It is terribly windy this afternoon so I decided to try it from the ground! I'm 12 yards off a cut corn field and 40 yards from the corn/crp field edge. Should be a good spot. I'm hidden real well but plenty of room to shoot!
