Well, saw one buck this morning snorting at us, changed to a different location this afternoon and got a group of about four doe and one nice looking eight point about fifty yards out down wind and got snorted at again. The wind just did not cooperate for us today. But at least my sons got to see some action. Gonna take a two day brake and hit it hard on wed.

    Joe,

I saw a lot of deer on their feet this morning on my way to work with the cold front. Nice that you could get out there on a Monday morning. Have you seen anything? If not, I'd be suprised. Good luck.

Whoever said that the US had a major squirrel kill-off this year is nuts.

    Pun intended.

I got setup around 4.... My gut feeling tells me I should see a good buck in this location, but my eyes tell me it looks like little Buck, doe and fawn hangout. Ill see what's right my gut, or eyes.

I do feel akward sitting in this spot.... I rarely hunt setups where I can see so far....

Hunting a brand new property tonight, checked my trail camera on the way in, 148 pictures in 8 days, still haven't seen what's on it but I know there is at least one good 8 running around. Kicked a doe out of her bed on my way to the stand, praying that she didn't run and tell all her friends!:busted:

I'll be hittin it early tomorrow. Up and shower and out the door by 4:30 in the stand by 5:30. Sky starts to glow around 6:00, sunrise 6:49. West winds 5-10mph. perfect for tomorrows stand location. I'll check in from stand.

I'm back in a tree. First time since friday morning. Dropped my dang quiver again. What's up with that?

Only birds and cattle farmers moving around.

Well this wasn't the spot to be in.

K saw a bunch of deer where he went but couldn't get a shot.

Deb is about 150 yards away and she shot two does.
