Live from the Stand

Good luck everyone.
My bro in- law was out at his farm yesterday a told me he's starting to see bucks chasing does. I guess things will really start heating up very soon.

 

I didn't have time to set my stand up this morning so I'm sitting on the ground. So far haven't seen anything but this is a active area so who knows. Good luck all

 

Just had a doe at 40 yards walk behind me. Tries to fawn bleat her my way but ended up getting a coyote coming I'm but he stayed between 60-100 yards away

 

Good luck to everyone up in a treestand or blind right now! I will be out in a few hours!

 

In the stand for session 2... hope it picks up more than this morning!

 

I'm in the stand as well. Weather is a lot better than my last sit hoping to see something.

Only thought, that apple I just bit into was nasty.

In the stand. I'm on an oak flat between bedding and a food plot.

 

I'm back out! Totally new stand location for me but looks promising!

 

So far just a Turkey clucking like crazy behind me... I'd love to fill my fall Turkey tag with a big ol' gobbler!

 

Lots of squirrels but no deer yet.

 

Hunt just got a lot better. Found some more crackers in the bottom of my backpack. :D

Sitting about 20 yards from a good thick bedding area that borders a standing bean field. So far, I've sat for 2 hours and haven't seen anything.

 

Sitting where I saw a nice ten point opening morning. Slow going so far.

 

Just had 5 doe pass by but just out of range

 

Doe with two in tow. Gave them a free pass.

 

Cold fronts moving in so hopefully something will come by

 

9 deer and 5 turkeys so far, everything just out of range

 

you on pain meds still? yesterday was the opening day...
